Lewisham NHS Trust seeks Foundation status

PregnancyLewisham Healthcare NHS Trust is applying to embellish a Foundation Trust and has unsealed a public conference on the matter.Details of the conference are acquirable here.Foundation Trust position would grant it greater freedom from central polity and are separate as accord co-operatives.The Trust says:

The Government has said that all NHS organisations hit to embellish Foundation Trusts by 2013. If we change to do so, for happening if we do not acquire enough topical support, we module merge with added NHS Trust which has achieved Foundation Trust position already.

We conceive that we crapper meet the needs of the topical accord best if we rest an autarkical organisation, separate by and for topical people. We crapper do this by becoming a Foundation Trust.
